Toshiba’s added NVIDIA SLI technology to its X205 gaming notebook series. The new Satellite X205 will be available in two models- the Satellite X205-SLi1 and the Satellite X205-SLi3. Both models feature dual NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT GPUs and are compatible with Microsoft DirectX 10.

“Last year, Toshiba launched their gaming notebook lineup with NVIDIA GPUs, evolving the notebook gaming experience with with a unique blend of sheer performance, practical versatility, and elegant style,” said Rene Haas, general manager of Notebook GPUs at NVIDIA. “Toshiba’s addition of NVIDIA SLI technology to their gaming notebooks further demonstrates their commitment to delivering the ultimate entertainment experience to gamers on the go.”

All Satellite X205-SLi notebooks come with HDMI output, S/P Dif out for 5.1 surround sound, Bluetooth 2.0 and an HD DVD drives. The SLI3 includes an external USB HDTV tuner.
