This easy pork chop recipe is a southern favorite. The pork chops are covered in thinly sliced onions and gravy, and simmered to a flavorful finish. Choose a thicker sliced pork chop that is an even thickness throughout. Chops that are an even thickness will cook evenly with less drying. Start the c ...

Google’s built a custom interface for iPhone users to make it easier to access all of its services, including Gmail, Docs, Blogger and Calendar. The new interface is much a huge improvement compared to Google’s mobile site, which is still accessible on other mobile devices.
If you’re a die-hard Google user, you’ll be very happy to see your RSS feeds, Picasa photos and notebook are easily accessible.
This a great start for Google, but it still needs some work. The Gmail inbox looks great, but the compose page is half-baked, with the e-mail ‘body’ form taking up only half the width of the screen portrait mode and less than a third of it in landscape mode. The text in this form is miniscule, making it nearly impossible to read while typing.
One nice feature is that the Google search page for iPhone is predictive, which save some finger tapping.
To access the Google mobile for iPhone interface, just visit Google.com on your iPhone.

Super Talent announced two 256GB solid state drives, unfortunately they’re too big to cram in a notebook, but these larger capacities are a good thing and should trickle down to notebooks.
The Super Talent SSDs can operate in extreme heat conditions, from -40C to 85C. The SSDs will be sold directly to OEMs at what’s sure to be a hefty price tag. They will be direct replacements for 3.5-inch SATA hard disk drives.
“We’re using our expertise in flash technology and our own controller to develop maximum density solid state storage solutions. This may well be the world’s highest capacity SSD available today. It’s a big addition to our already broad line of SSD products that firmly positions Super Talent as the market leader,” said Super Talent Marketing Director Joe James.

Booq announced the Folee 2 Hybrid Travel Bag. The Folee 2 has an updated look and a larger capacity than its processor. Booq’s bags are some of the best designed and manufactured notebook cases on the market, but their sky-high prices keep them out of the hands of many users.

Intel challenged European universities to design a device capable of powering laptops using renewable and sustainable energy sources. Today Intel announced that the Spanish team from Polytechnic of Madrid, won the contest with a pedal powered machine.
The cycling action produces energy which is turned into the electricity necessary to power the laptop by a power electronics converter. The solution was chosen as it demonstrates the team’s systematic approach to deal with all aspects of the challenge – from its ease of implementation to the innovative quality of its electronic components – with special features to allow for a realistic usage model. The Spanish device is particularly user-friendly as it enables the user to adopt a flexible, customizable rhythm including any required breaks. Original features include the power electronic converter specifically designed to minimize charging time and keep energy flow at a constant level.
The Polytechnic of Milan (Italy) and Delft’s University of Technology (Netherlands) were runners up. The Italian team devised an ingenious way to utilize hydrogen fuel cell to power a laptop. Delft University’s design is also innovative and consists mainly of a rocking-motion pedal mechanism. An integrated design approach, drawing knowledge from a ...
